Debbie Seale (Owner & Director)
Debbie Seale, our founder and director, holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, earned in 1984. She began her career as a Lead Teacher at Longwood Medical Area Child Care Center and later served as director of preschool and toddler programs at Communities United, Inc., for nine years, along with three years in an administration position. Since 2001, Debbie has been nurturing young learners in a family childcare setting, drawing on decades of hands-on experience.
Debbie’s dedication extends beyond the classroom. She has been certified in First Aid and CPR for over 20 years and has served as a Girl Scout Leader for 15 years. In addition to her work in education, she is actively involved in 4-H and her church community. Debbie is a proud mother of two adult children and deeply values the relationships she builds with each child and family she works with.
Marlene Goldsmith (Teacher)
Marlene Goldsmith, a certified elementary educator, brings 12 years of preschool teaching experience in Cambridge to our team. As a mother to an adult daughter, Marlene understands the importance of fostering an environment where children feel valued and engaged. Her love for children and her passion for education brought her to Debbie's Childcare and Preschool, where she has been a beloved substitute teacher since 2009 and now works part-time.
Certified in CPR and First Aid, Marlene brings both expertise and a deep affection for young learners to her role. Her commitment to creating a positive, joyful atmosphere ensures that every child feels comfortable, whether they’re smiling, laughing, or working through a tough moment. Marlene’s caring approach helps children navigate their emotions while growing their curiosity and confidence.

Andrea Baron (Teacher)
Andrea, a longtime friend of Debbie, brings both life experience and a nurturing spirit to the classroom. A mother herself, she first met Debbie through Girl Scouts and quickly joined her as a co-leader.
Andrea has been part of Debbie’s Childcare and Preschool team since its opening, starting as a backup teacher and now serving as a part-time teacher. In addition to her teaching role, Andrea serves as the office manager at Temple Beth Israel and for her husband, Attorney James Baron, who specializes in Education Law and Special Needs Estate Planning.
